I have used djay since v4 and really like it. in the ringtones setting in my phone. Hope that works for anyone having issues. I know I will have to pay for it but it will be cheaper that than my time in figuring out what happened.

After I renamed the file with the new extention it is listed as a ‘ringtone' in my main library but it doesn't come up under the ringtone file in itunes and on the general tab, near the bottom, there's an ‘import settings' option next to a drop down menu.
