Everythig works fine except the GPS. Changed back to the old (cracked) screen 2. I have that problem but did not break anything. I managed to get it under the white connector as securely as I could.
So i ordered a new LCD screen on Ebay and decided to replace it myself. More Bonuses But the screen is still black and the touchscreen doesn't appear to be working (before i replaced the screen the touchscreen was working fine and i could answer calls etc.) From If there are blue traces of Loctite, you may need to use the tip of a soldering iron to briefly heat the screw so that you can remove it. I tried to open it again just to be sure that its connected. Underneath I can make out the clock and all the symbols, and it recognizes my finger gestures instantly, but the screen remains bright white with gray horizontal lines/flickerings. It is attached to the part you are removing and you will tear the ribbon cable if it is taped to the front. i instaled it and pluged it to recharge abouth 1 hour and it dont whant to start.
