That said I have seen some laptops that will not work with USB keyboard in the BIOS and must use the built in keyboard but I can't say for sure about but rarely it works fine again. I was literally using it one second, playing PS3 the next for about fifteen minutes, went back to it, and the keyboard had stopped functioning. Why are you glomming on to an ancient thread? My ATI Radeon x1200 series driver suddenly stopped working though it is still installed and the AMD driver autodetect states that I have the most recent driver for my system.
