My 2 years old 3GS is fully functional again ! My Iphone is saved and you kept me out of the Apple store. Called Rogers iPhone support and after trying a million unrelated things they replacement my phone. I had accidentally dropped my iphone about the same time the mic went out on it and i thought the drop had caused it but it was just the lent. I assumed that 3.0 had a some sort of problem with it as it seemed to be after i installed it the mic stopped working once i pluged the lead in. the mic even works on the pair I put through the wash, which they weren't doing this morning.
