Thanks dude. It seems like these ports are attracting lint.... I worked my way through and came across your post, I had a feeling that it was jammed up with lint but you verified that I wasn't imagining things. I told them how my mic/remote wasn't working and they immediately sent out a new pair via next day via Fedex!

I googled the problem and most of the time the headphones didn't work because of lint in the audio jack. Ming THAT's unbelievable… I was just pissed off because my Mic- headfones were not working anymore. And yes, it works great now.
